In 1993 founder and CEO Kevin Blake took a gamble and opened Action Carpet and Floor Covering. We started out as a cleaning company, in a small storefront in Granby, CT with only a handful of employees willing to take on the risk. It quickly became a family business, having relatives and friends working to keep the train going. Over the last 30 years- we developed into more than just a cleaning company, keeping the small family business roots. Action Carpet and Floor Covering is now one of the areas top rated floor covering and remodeling services in the Hartford area.
With over 30 years in the industry- we have grown from a company of 2 employees to a company that is ranked as Hartfords Best three years running. With a handful of employees and subcontractors with over 17 years experience in their field, Action Carpet prides itself on quality and excellence. From hardwood installation and refinishing, luxury vinyl tile, tile, carpet, cleaning and kitchen makeovers our team has the knowledge and expertise- we back our work with a lifetime warranty on all of our installations including our bathroom and kitchen remodels.
